His dedication to Panther athletics has been recognized with the IHSAA Distinguished Media Service Award, induction into the Jennings County High School Alumni Hall of Fame, and selection as a recipient of the Indiana Basketball Coaches Association's Virgil Sweet Award for outstanding media contributions.
