COLUMBUS, Ind. - The Bartholomew Consolidated School Corporation (BCSC) invites the community to a virtual presentation on Tuesday, September 22, at 7 p.m. to learn more about the proposed renewal of BCSC’s operating referendum, which will appear on the November ballot.
During the webinar, BCSC officials will share factual information about the referendum and answer your questions.
The presentation will cover:
- Renewal of the same referendum rate approved by voters in 2020
- How referendum funds support the recruitment and retention of certified and classified staff, including teachers, teaching assistants, bus drivers, custodians, and others
- How the referendum has contributed to historic outcomes in student achievement, staff retention, school safety, and STEM opportunities
- How this proposal continues the existing referendum rather than establishing a new referendum
BCSC families, staff, and community members are encouraged to join the webinar to learn more and have their questions answered.
