FRANKLIN, Ind. - The Indiana State Champion Wildlife Team from Franklin Community Schools (FCS) was recently honored at the Indiana FFA State Convention for their success this year.
The team, Lena Penning, Lincoln Warner, Norrah Harmening, and Layla Schrock, demonstrated outstanding knowledge and skill in wildlife management, conservation, and identification to earn the state title.
Their journey continues as the team now prepares to represent Indiana at the National Wildlife Contest this July in South Carolina. FCS officials said, "We are incredibly proud of their hard work, dedication, and commitment to excellence and wish them the best of luck as they take on the national stage."
