FRANKLIN, Ind. - Phase 1 of the Graham Road project in Franklin begins on or after Monday, August 24. The contractor says Graham Road will be fully reconstructed from Earlywood Drive to Paul Hand Boulevard, and the bridge over Canary Creek will be replaced.
The first phase will be completed before the end of the year. Then, in spring 2027, Phase 2 will begin. Construction will wrap up by the summer of 2027.
The project will consist of two closure periods (outlined below). During the maintenance, access will be maintained to all properties.
Closures:
- Phase 1 – South, from Paul Hand Boulevard for 1400 feet, including the bridge; access to properties north of the bridge will be from Paul Hand Boulevard, and south of the bridge from Earlywood Drive
- Phase 2 - North, from Earlywood Drive to the south end of Phase 1; access will be relayed to residents within the project limits in the spring
The posted detour for these closures will be Paul Hand Boulevard, Hurricane Road, and Earlywood Drive.
