Jackson County man busted for dealing meth

SEYMOUR, Ind. - The Seymour Narcotics and Detective Divisions assisted Jackson County Probation Officers with a probationary search in the 200 block of South Park St. in Seymour just before noon on Tuesday, August 4.

The preliminary search by probation officers allegedly indicated that methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia were present at the residence. A search warrant was then obtained for the location.

During the execution of the search warrant, additional meth and drug-related materials were supposedly found.

Over 400 grams of meth were reportedly located during the search. The approximate street value of the items is over $3,000.

As a result of the investigation, Thomas Murray, 38, of Seymour, was arrested for:

• Dealing Methamphetamine (level 2 Felony)
• Possession of Meth (level 2 Felony)
• Possession of Paraphernalia (A Misdemeanor)
• Maintaining a Common Nuisance (level 6 Felony)

All parties depicted are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
